A fellow named James had a habit of "imbibing" a little too much.
He didn't like to feel like a hypocrite, so he would let his wife, Paula, take their daughter Amber to church.
One Sunday, Paula and Amber went to church and things were normal. Amber scooted, skipped and jumped around like most 4 year olds do.
After much fussing, the church service was over.
The preacher said the closing prayer. All the while Amber was clicking her heels together, ready to go.
Afterwards, the preacher was at the exit door, shaking hands and thanking folks for coming.
Paula and Amber were making their exit.
The preacher thanked Paula for coming and thanked her for bringing Amber.
The preacher looked down at Amber and sais "My! What lovely blue eyes you have!"
Little four year old Amber looked up innocently and said "Yes sir. I get those from my Momma."
The preacher was absolutely delighted, but wanted to include the dad.
He said "What color are your father's eyes"?
Little Amber again looked up and said "They're usually RED"!
