One Sunday, a French Canadian father and son were leaving church.
"Papa, what do they mean when they say matrimony is a sacrament?", the boy asked.
"Well," replied his father, "it's a long story, but I think it was your great-grandpapa Pierre's idea to call it that. You see, Pierre didn't like me too much. When he found out that I was going to marry his favorite granddaughter, the first thing he said was 'Ah, SACRAMENT!'"
